Check for scheduled laundry services before your stay to ensure all amenities are available, especially towels and washcloths.

they really should've cleaned the carpet and the dirty ceiling before I got there. I almost gave a good review for the comfy bed, but then I heard every noise from the busy street! Finding absolutely no complimentary toiletries was shocking! you woudl think for the price that would be included, but no! definitely not worth it.

Noticing the outdated restaurant menus next door was disappointing!!! The shower and bathroom cleanliness needs significant attention, and the strong stale smoke smell harmed the experience greatly!!! A seal on the door could help reduce road noise!!!

The bacon at the adjacent MGM restaurant was downright addictive, and their extensive menu made each meal a little adventure! The front desk staff were super friendly and gave me great tips on local attractions. Got my feet wet in Nanaimo’s vibrant food scene!
Also, after calling the front desk for a fork, I got handed a suspiciously used plastic one. The area felt a bit sketch, too.

We had a fun stay overall! The family suite was spacious, making it perfect for our large group, including the grandkids. We also loved being close to the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal, which was easy to access for a day out exploring.
My wife says that the noise from nearby guests was distracting.

The family suite was clean and spacious, perfect for our group of four. Comfortable beds allowed for restful nights, although some fixtures looked a bit worn. The adjacent restaurant offered fresh fish, which was a delightful treat. A minor inconvenience was the lack of provided toiletries, which were expected but not available. Overall, it was a decent stay with a good location near downtown.

Had an amazing time with a group of friends! The location is perfect and close to places like Departure Bay Ferry Terminal for stunning views and Duke Point Ferry Terminal for amazing activities. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing useful maps and suggestions for things to do in the area.
One downside was that there were no provided soaps or shampoos in the room, which was surprising. It’s best to bring your own toiletries if you plan to stay.

Comfy beds near the ferry
The bed was incredibly comfy, making it easy to drift off after a long day exploring Nanaimo. The location was convenient, close to the ferry terminal and local restaurants.
However, the walls were surprisingly thin, and I could hear every conversation from the neighboring rooms, which disrupted my sleep. Additionally, I was disappointed by the staff's indifference to my request for utensils.

clean rooms but rusty fixtures
The room was clean and well maintained. I appreciated the helpful suggestions from the staff for local activities. Additionally, the lobby was welcoming with a cozy seating area for guests. During my stay, the excellent wi-fi made streaming a breeze after a long day.
We were disappointed with the condition of some bathroom fixtures.

I loved my stay for the comfortable room equipped with a fridge and microwave. The approx 10% off at the nearby restaurant was a delightful surprise! The constant road noise made sleeping tough though.

Great service and a comfy bed
The check-in experience was a highlight, thanks to the welcoming front desk manager who was a joy to talk with. The room itself was clean and fairly comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. One area for improvement would be the bathroom cleanliness, which could use a bit more attention.
